Kaye-Smith provides all the safeguards required by state and federal law. We
have achieved both the SAS 70 Type I and II audit reports and have attained our
ISO 27001 Certification for Information Security Management.
As part of ISO 27001 we have incorporated Business Continuity. Besides being a
requirement of the safeguards for HIPAA and other Federal regulations, it is a
condition of Kaye-Smith’s continued ISO Certification. Business Continuity is also a prime consideration
for many banks and credit unions.
Risk Analysis, an on-going process at Kaye-Smith, has resulted in the inclusion
of a back-up generator and Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) at Kaye-Smith’s processing center. If a power failure occurs, most of Kaye-Smith’s operations continue uninterrupted. In addition, Kaye-Smith has replicated our
systems and equipment in our Portland facility for a redundant Business
Continuity solution. This redundant site is used to image and process mail on
an ongoing basis.
